Pembroke Guest Speakers
Are you passionate about interfaith dialogue and confident speaking to large groups of young people? The Abraham Institute is keen to hear from suitable people who are interested in speaking at Pembroke School - our partner school. Guests will have the opportunity to speak about their religion, faith, and/or traditions that align with that week's chapel session theme.
This opportunity is less interactive - like our facilitator roles - and aligns more with a public speaking role!
If this sounds like you, please fill out the below form and tell us a little bit more about yourself.
What We're Looking For:
Confident speakers with experience addressing large groups
Ability to connect with and inspire young audiences
Well-prepared, organised, and able to take direction
Passionate about promoting interfaith understanding
Important Note:
You will NOT be proselytising or teaching the specifics of your faith. Instead, you'll focus on how your religion addresses universal concepts.
Requirements:
Working With Children Check and Reporting Risk, Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) training (or willingness to obtain)
Prepared to create a 12-minute talk with a PowerPoint presentation
Join Us in Promoting Unity and Understanding Among Young People!
We look forward to hearing from you!
